Welcome to the Library Page of UNA
The service provision of the Library of the University of the Netherlands Antilles is primarily focused on supporting the education and research at the five faculties of the UNA. Its core business is, in cooperation with the faculties, finding and selecting material to be acquired and subsequently acquiring and making these materials accessible while also making documentary and electronic information available. Thus the library’s multimedia collection contains mainly publications that are related to the fields of Antillean Law, Economy, Management and Accountancy, Electrical Engineering, Information & Communication Engineering, Architecture and Civil Engineering, Education, Languages and Culture. The library also provides an additional and supporting role in acquiring and administering a general, current and interdisciplinary reference collection. The Library’s goal is to provide optimal service and facilities for access to the information materials it makes available to its most important users, namely students, lecturers and staff of the UNA. It also makes its collection and information services available to others that wish to access them for study or professional needs. The Library of the UNA also maintains an extensive network of contacts with other documentation centers both locally, regionally and internationally so that it can provide speedy access to requested information materials to its users. |
