& Tourism Management? Our four-year Bachelor Degree Program
is a program that results in a Bachelor Degree in International
Hospitality & Tourism Management. It is a demanding program
and our students are required to give their best at all times.

Applying for the Bachelor Degree Program means that you choose
for education at the highest level. Our university is well known
as one of the best in the Americas and we offer you the opportunity
to develop your talents at top level.
The Bachelor Degree Program works in alliance with the Hotelschool
The Hague, which is accredited by the European Foundation of
Accredited Hotel Schools (EFAH). The World Tourism Organization
has placed Hotelschool The Hague on its list of the best training
centres in the world. Hotelschool The Hague is one of The Leading
Hotel Schools of the World, established by Hotelschool The Hague
and Leading Hotels of the World. During the second semester
of the junior year, the students will leave to the Netherlands
for an internship of four months under guidance of the Hotelschool
The Hague. There is also a close cooperation with Florida International
University (FIU), where students will follow some parts of the
program for their international orientation. In the senior year
the students will be participating in a Certificate Program
at the FIU. After completing the Florida semester, the students
have the option to spent their last internship in the USA, where
FIU and the UNA have made arrangements for this four month endeavour.
The Program is supported by the Curaçao Hospitality & Tourism Association, in which leading hotels like Mariott and
Hilton are participating.
Learning and working as a team
During the freshman year of the Bachelor Degree Program you
will live in what is known as a Skotel. This is our Training
and Study Hotel (school dormitory). It is compulsory for all
first year students. As a freshman, you will share a room with
a fellow student. From the very first moment you learn to get
on in close contact with others.
You will need to deal with conflicts in a satisfactory way,
work and live together. This way you will build a sound base
for working in teams. In the academic year 2003 – 2004
the Skotel has been located in the Curaçao Airport Hotel,
a member of the Quality Inn
